OSU Institute of Technology Economic Development & Training Center

The EDTC was instrumental in the original formation of NEOMC. It continues to facilitate the efforts of NEOMC by providing staff and resources to meet identified needs. The EDTC provides resources, assistance, and training in areas such as Quality Assurance, Prototyping and Reverse Engineering, New Product Development, Business Planning and Market Research, Process Improvement, Soft Skills and Technical Training, and EC/EDI Practices.

Commerce Development Center - The Commerce Development Center (CDC) in partnership with the Northeast Oklahoma Manufacturers Council and OSU-Okmulgee has a primary role of assisting entrepreneurs and small/mid size business in the areas of business and market plan development, start-up support including use of shared manufacturing equipment, new product development, patent assistance, productivity and cost reduction programs, training and modernization and contracting support. Oklahoma Quality Deployment Program - QDP - The Oklahoma Quality Deployment Program provides training and management tools to enable small and medium sized manufacturers to meet the stringent national and international standards of quality and practices needed for preferred Government Vendor Status. ASSET Project - Aging Systems Sustainment and Enabling Technology (ASSET - formerly CATT) is a partnership joining Academia, Industry, and the Government in an effort to reduce the Department of Defense's costs by using technology to provide new sources of supply and increase competition.
